Three days in the Wilderness - Marco Island Area

Camping trip for 3 days/ 2 nights with Kayak or Canoe

We completely outfit your trip. All you have to bring, is you personal gear and personal items. An important part of any good camping trip is good hearty meals. However, a "Complete Everglades Experience" must include the wonderful local seafood of the Everglades. We take pride in preparing as many fresh local meals as we can. If conditions allow, our guides will even catch fresh fish for your meals.

Your safety and comfort is paramount. The Park's expansiveness can make navigating the area daunting. However, rest assured that each guide carries the state-of-the-art in safety, navigation and communications equipment. Each tour is equipped with GPS units, VHF marine radios, GPS tracking devices and cell/satellite phones. You will be in good, experienced hands, protect by reliable modern communications equipment.

You must be able to sit in a kayak for longer periods of time and paddle.
You should be in good general health.

equipment and clothing

Clothing depends on weather conditions, which may change quickly. Always bring jacket or sweater - just in case. Shoes must be suitable for a kayak and for walking on beach.
In winter, it acn be very cold!
Protection from sun for head, neck and shoulders is imperative!
