National Park Grand Heritage and Birding Tour - Marco Island Area

For Nature enthusiasts

This is the most extensive tour of the Park offered. Approximately six to seven hours in duration, guests experience the 10,000 Islands, the Everglades Tidal Rivers and Flats, the infamous Wilderness Waterway, remote Mangrove Creeks and Tunnels, Coastal Island Beaches and remote historical sites in Everglades National Park. Your Naturalist guide leads you on an ecological and heritage interpretation that uses very comfortable power boats, kayaks and even a beach walk as part of the tour. Each tour includes frequents stops at points of interest, comfort facilities and lunch at a historic Park site or on a remote barrier island beach.

Each day and each tour is different depending on the local conditions at the time, the season and where the wildlife chooses to be.

Clothing depends on weather conditions, which may change quickly. Always bring jacket or sweater - just in case. Shoes must be suitable for a kayak and for walking on beach.
Protection from sun for head, neck and shoulders is imperative!
