Kayak Day Tour - Marco Island Area
Six hour tour for sea kayak enthusiasts
Each tour begins with a brief paddling lesson and safety equipment orientation. From there we venture out into Everglades National Park waters for the day's experience. Every tour is different, depending on the season and the daily conditions. We may visit a remote beach or paddle up a tidal river to see some rare birds, or travel into the mangrove tunnels and swamps, or the saltwater estuaries of the 10,000 islands.
Everglades National Park is one of the most spectacular parks in the US National Park System. Surrounded by the Big Cypress National Preserve, Fakahatchee Strand National Preserve, Rookery Bay National Marine Estuary and the 10,000 Islands Preserve, there is over one million flooded, pristine acres. Our transport boat nestles six very stable kayaks in her bow and provides comfortable captains-style seating for six guests. With full safety equipment, a satellite phone, GPS tracking system, a large sunshade and a cooler full of cold drinks, your guide will bring you deep into the Park in safety and comfort.
